Frequently Asked Questions

Starting a game is simple! From the Player Selection screen, your child selects their profile and enters their 4-digit PIN. Then they follow three easy steps:

• Choose a Category — Pick from available subjects (e.g. Shorashim, Brachos, Melachos). A Review tile also appears here for practicing questions they've gotten wrong.
• Choose a Subcategory — Pick a specific topic within that category
• Choose Game Type — Single player, two-player, or Online Play

After that, the game begins!

There are 7 game modes plus a dedicated Review mode (see below), each with unique rules:

Standard	1 or 2	You get 3 lives (outs). Each wrong answer costs a life. 10 seconds per question.
Timed	1	Answer as many questions as you can in 3 minutes. No per-question timer.
Unlimited	1	No lives, no penalties for wrong answers. Keep going until all questions are used.
Lightning	2	Speed battle! First player to answer wins the point. 3 lives each.
Face-Off	2	Turn-based with 5 questions per turn. A wrong answer switches the turn.
Unlimited Dual	2	Two-player speed game with no lives — play through all questions.
Online Play	2	Same rules as Face-Off, but you play against an automatically matched opponent online. Requires the Family or Family+ plan, a parent to enable Online Play on the player's profile, and a gender set on the player profile.

Review is a dedicated practice mode for questions your child has gotten wrong. A purple Review tile appears on the category screen with a counter badge showing how many questions are in their review pool. Tap it to start a single-player game pulled from every category they've played — not just one.

To graduate a question out of the review pool, your child must answer it correctly in two separate Review games — not twice in the same game. This makes Review a true chazara (review/repetition) tool, not just a one-shot retry. Review mode uses standard 3-out scoring, and getting review questions right unlocks the Chazara achievement at 50, 100, and 250 cumulative correct answers.

• Correct answer: +5 points (more on a hot streak — see below!)
• Wrong answer: -5 points (except in Unlimited mode, where there's no penalty)
• Timeout: No penalty — the question simply advances

Combo multiplier: Answer questions correctly in a row and your points start to multiply — ×2 at a 5-answer streak, ×3 at 10, and ×4 at 15+ in a row. Bigger combos set off an on-screen celebration. A wrong answer resets the multiplier (unless a Streak Saver perk is active).

Bonus perks can boost scoring even more! The Bonus perk gives +10 total per correct answer for 30 seconds, and the Super Bonus perk gives +20 total per correct answer for 60 seconds. These perks can even stack together for +30 points per correct answer!

Outs are like lives. In modes that use them (Standard, Lightning, Face-Off, Online Play, Review), each player starts with 3 outs. Every wrong answer costs 1 out. When a player reaches 0 outs, the game is over for them.

Some modes reward bonus outs for streaks:

• Lightning: Earn +1 out every 20 correct answers
• Face-Off: Earn +1 out every 10 correct answers

The Shield perk can block an out from being lost on a wrong answer.

In most modes, players have 10 seconds per question — or 15 seconds for questions with longer answer text (4+ words in the answer choices). A color-coded timer shows the countdown — green when there's plenty of time, yellow when it's getting close, and red with a pulse when time is almost up.

In Timed mode, there's no per-question timer. Instead, there's an overall 3-minute clock for the entire round.

The Pause and Slo Mo perks can help with time pressure! Pause freezes the timer (with a Resume button to end early), and Slo Mo cuts the timer speed in half for 60 seconds.

To keep stats and leaderboards fair, a round only counts toward your child's games played (and adds its score, XP, and achievements) once it's a real game — that means it lasted at least 2 minutes or your child answered at least 25 questions. Quitting a game right after it starts won't add to the totals. A short message lets your child know if a game was too brief to count.

After the first player selects a game, a second player is prompted to select their profile and enter their PIN (or, for Online Play, an opponent is matched automatically). Both players see the same questions on screen, but have separate answer buttons, separate scores, separate perk trays, and separate streaks.

Depending on the mode:

• Lightning & Unlimited Dual: Both players can answer at the same time — the fastest correct answer wins the point
• Face-Off: Players take turns answering 5 questions at a time
• Standard (2P): Both answer with 10-second timers, first correct answer wins the point
• Online Play: Face-Off-style turns against an automatically matched opponent — no chat, just gameplay

In turn-based modes (Face-Off and Online Play), any timed perk your child activates — like Bonus, Super Bonus, or Slo Mo — pauses while the other player is taking their turn, so 60 seconds of Super Bonus means 60 seconds of your answering time, not wall-clock time.

Note: Two-player modes require a Multi-Player plan (Family or Family+). Online Play also requires a parent toggle in Account Settings and each player's gender and birthday filled in.

• Single player: Scoring 50 or more points in a game counts as a win
• Two-player: Beating your opponent by 50+ points counts as a win

Wins are tracked on the player's dashboard and count toward achievements.

Yes! There is a Stop button available during gameplay. To prevent accidental taps (and to stop kids from using a confirmation dialog as a free pause), Stop is now a 1-second long-press — your child holds the button until a small countdown indicator fills, then the game ends. Results are still saved — including score, accuracy, and any achievements earned up to that point.

Absolutely! After each game, a "Review Mistakes" button appears on the results screen. It shows every question that was answered incorrectly, along with what your child chose and what the correct answer was.

For longer-term practice, the dedicated Review mode (the purple Review tile on the category screen) lets your child play through every question they've gotten wrong across all categories — the ultimate chazara tool.

Every game earns XP (experience points) based on performance:

• Base: 10 XP per game
• Correct answers: +3 XP each
• Accuracy bonus: Up to +10 XP for high accuracy
• Win bonus: +15 XP for a win
• Streak bonus: +1 XP per streak milestone

XP is one of the ingredients that helps your child climb the level ladder (see the next question), alongside points, wins, time played, completed categories, mini-games, games played, and achievements earned. Your child's current level and a "next level" hint show on their dashboard.

There is one unified 14-level ladder — from Standard / Beginner up to Royal / Gadol Hador. Each level has both a gem/metal name and a Hebrew title, and to reach a level your child must meet all the requirements at once (points, wins, XP, time played, completed categories, mini-games played, games played, and achievements earned).

(Points are just the headline number — each level also needs the matching wins, XP, time, categories, mini-games, games, and achievements earned.) A "win" means scoring 50+ points in a single-player game, or winning by a 50+ point margin in two-player.

Every 20 games, if your child has a Hebrew birthday set in their profile, a special bonus question pops up mid-game asking them to identify their Hebrew birthday from 4 choices. Answer correctly and earn a free Perkolating Wheel spin! It's a fun way to make sure kids remember their Hebrew birthday.

Perks are in-game power-ups that give your child a strategic advantage during gameplay. They can freeze the timer, reveal hints, boost points, protect against wrong answers, and more. Perks add an exciting strategic layer to each game!

There are 12 in-game perks your child uses during a game, plus digital bonuses and rare real-world prizes won on the wheel.

Digital bonuses can also land on the wheel: Jackpot (one of every game perk at once!), Doubled (doubles your entire perk inventory), Plus Points (a bonus of +50 up to +10,000 added straight to your score), a Mini-Game (launches one of the mini-games — see below), and the occasional Smile just for fun.

Real-world prizes — on rare spins your child can win an actual prize that we mail or arrange for you, with a special gold celebration. Depending on the wheel your family chooses, these include Torah Blitz apparel (T-shirt, sweatshirt), a signed YMT book set, seforim (a $100 seforim-store gift card, Chumashim, Mishnayos, Tehillim, or a sefer), sports gear (basketball, soccer ball, football, frisbee, headphones), and even tickets to a local ball game. Real prizes are extremely rare and aren't added to the perk inventory — we'll contact you to arrange fulfillment!

Perk levels: when your child lands on a perk, a banner celebrates how good it is — "Wow! A Medium perk!", "Congratulations! A High-level perk!", or the top tier, "Mazal Tov! The highest-level perk!"

There are several ways to earn perks:

• Achievements — When your child earns an achievement (score milestones, streaks, category completions, etc.), they receive a spin or two on the Perkolating Wheel
• The Store — Kids buy perks directly with Blitz Coins in the Blitz Coin Store (Inventory tab)
• Mini-Games — Clearing a Word Search or Memory Match can earn spins too (see the Mini-Games section)
• Parent Gifts — Parents gift Blitz Coins from the Parent Dashboard, which kids spend on perks (and more) in the store
• Starter Pack — Every new player begins with 2 Pauses, 1 Hint, 1 Bonus, and 1 Shield to get started

The Perkolating Wheel is an arcade-style spinning reel that determines which perk your child wins. When spins are earned (from achievements or parent gifts), the wheel appears with a vertical carousel of all perk types — plus rare real-world prizes!

Your child presses "SPIN!" and the reel spins for a few exciting seconds before landing on a perk. There's also a "Quick Spin" button for a faster 1-second spin if they want to skip the suspense. Each perk has a different likelihood of being won — common perks like Bonus and Hint appear more often, while powerful ones are rarer. Landing on Jackpot triggers a celebration with confetti! On very rare occasions, the wheel lands on a real-world prize with an extra-special gold celebration.

Choosing your wheel: there are three wheels, and parents pick one from the Account Settings panel: a Game Perks wheel (perks & digital bonuses only), a Jewish / Torah wheel (adds seforim, gift cards, and Shabbos prizes), and a Sports wheel (adds balls, headphones, and ball-game tickets). All three include the in-game perks; the wheel you choose changes which real-world prizes can appear.

Spins are safe: If your child closes the browser or loses their connection mid-spin, no spins are lost — each spin is persisted independently. They'll see the remaining spins waiting for them next time they open their dashboard.

Short answer? Yes. Although uncommon, there are a few spots that can wreak a bit of havoc. Destroyer, Pressure Cooker, and Double Pain are very uncommon, but can mess with the player's score.

There are others that aren't as bad, but can drive the players crazy. Spinless (lose a spin), Streakless (no streaks next game), Pointless (next game's score doesn't count toward stats), and Perkless (the next perk used costs two). The odds of landing on a negative spot are quite low, but spin carefully!

During gameplay, available perks appear as clickable buttons in the perk tray at the bottom of the screen. Each button shows the perk icon and how many your child has left. Simply tap a perk to activate it!

Each perk can be used up to 2 times per game. Players can use 2 perks, then must wait 2 minutes before using more — this keeps gameplay strategic. Timed perks (Bonus, Super Bonus, Slo Mo) show a live countdown so players always know how much time is left. Multiple perks can be stacked — for example, activating Bonus and Super Bonus together gives +30 points per correct answer!

Fair timing in turn-based modes: In Face-Off and Online Play, timed perks pause while it's the opponent's turn — so 60 seconds of Slo Mo actually buys 60 seconds of your answering time, not wall-clock time. Likewise, the streak counter is per-player: your streak follows you across your turns and isn't broken by anything your opponent does.

Perks carry over between games — unused perks stay in your child's inventory for next time.

Yes! From the Parent Dashboard, open the Players section and look for the "Gift Blitz Coins!" button on each child's card. Your child spends gifted coins in the Blitz Coin Store on perks, mini-games, and prizes. How many you can gift each month depends on your plan (Single: 1, Family: 3, Family+: 5 — per child, per month).

You can also directly manage perk inventories from the Admin Perks page, where you can set exact quantities for each perk type or use quick buttons like "Give 1 of Each" or "Give 5 of Each."

Mini-games are quick, fun, Torah-themed bonus games your child can play for extra points and Perkolating Wheel spins. One game — Mazel Maven (the slot machine) — can also win a handful of scarce Blitz Coins on a lucky pull. They're a fun change of pace from the regular trivia game, and there's a dedicated Mini-Games tab on the player dashboard.

There are four mini-games:

• 👄 Word Search — find all the hidden Hebrew words (e.g. the 10 Makkos, the 12 Shevatim, the colors) before the 2½-minute clock runs out. Tap the first and last letter of each word.
• 🃏 Memory Match — flip cards and find the matching Jewish pictures (Menorah, Magen David, and more) in 2 minutes.
• 🧩 Crossword — solve a Torah crossword: tap a clue, then tap letters to fill in the single-word answer, before the 2½-minute clock runs out.
• 🎰 Mazel Maven — a 4-reel slot machine: pull the lever (or tap Stop) and match Torah symbols across the reels. Matching more symbols wins bigger prizes — Blitz Coins, points and spins, and for the top tiers a real physical prize (a signed YMT book, or the Jackpot: a personalized set of Chumashim or Machzorim).

Every game rewards points and Blitz Coins for what your child finds, plus bonus Perkolating Wheel spins for clearing more of the board (clearing it all earns the most!).

Mini-games use credits, earned three ways:

• One free game every week — each child gets a free mini-game credit each week (the week turns over Saturday evening, after Shabbos). They choose which game to play.
• A parent gift — parents can gift each child a mini-game once a month with the "Gift a Mini-Game!" button on the Parent Dashboard.
• The Perkolating Wheel — landing on the Mini-Game space launches a random mini-game on the spot.

Free and gifted credits let your child pick which game to play (from the Mini-Games tab); wheel-won games are a surprise. Unused credits don't disappear — they wait for your child.

Blitz Coins 🪙 are your child's spendable reward currency. They're earned lots of ways — completing sub-categories and categories, passing points / XP / play-time milestones, family wins, leveling up, landing on the Perkolating Wheel, and even on their birthday — and parents can gift them too. Kids spend them in the Blitz Coin Store (on the Inventory tab) on game perks, mini-game credits, and real prizes shipped to your home (T-shirts, seforim, Shabbos treats, and more). Coins are one-way: they buy things but can't be sold back or turned into cash, and all store sales are final.

The store is open to every player from the start — there's no level you need to reach before you can shop. As a thank-you for sticking with it, kids who climb to the top tiers earn a loyalty discount that comes off automatically at checkout: Signature/Posek 5%, Classified/Gaon 10%, VIP/Rosh Yeshiva 15%, and Royal/Gadol Hador 20%. The checkout screen shows the discount and the final price before your child places the order.

The two biggest Mazel Maven wins include a real, physical prize — a signed YMT-series book (Large), or a personalized set of Chumashim or Machzorim (Jackpot). When your child wins one, it's recorded automatically and the YMT team is notified to arrange it with you. To keep things fair, a child can win one physical prize per season; the digital rewards (Blitz Coins, points, spins) are always awarded in full. All physical prizes are confirmed by the YMT team before they're sent.

Yes! Your child earns a Mini-Game Explorer badge the first time they play each game type, and a Mini-Game Master badge for playing all four. More milestone rewards are on the way as the remaining games launch.

Achievements are milestone rewards that your child earns by reaching specific goals — like scoring milestones, winning streaks, completing categories, and more. Each achievement has a meaningful Hebrew name and awards perk spins when unlocked. There are dozens of achievements grouped by category — Getting Started, Score, Winning, Streaks, Mastery, Diligence, Timed, Online Play, and Special — so it's easy to see what's left to earn at a glance. Achievements now do double duty: the total number your child has earned is also one of the requirements for climbing the level ladder, so chasing badges helps them rank up too.

Achievements span several categories:

• Getting Started — Play your first game ("Beginner Student"), try new game types ("Curious Learner")
• Score Milestones — Reach 100, 250, 500, 1,000, or 2,000 points in a single game
• Winning — Win a two-player game, win by 100+ points, or win by 500+ points
• Streaks — Get 10, 50, 100, or 250 correct answers in a row
• Category Mastery — Complete all questions in a category (basic and super levels)
• Diligence — Play 50, 100, 250, or 500 games (plus pure participation badges at 100/250/500 games regardless of score)
• Timed Challenges — Score 100+, 150+, or 250+ in Timed mode
• Online Play — Win your first online match (Bechor), 5 wins (Chamesh), 25 wins (Kaf Hei Kid), beat a Hard opponent (Goliath Slayer), or 3 wins in a row (Chut HaMeshulash)
• Special — Use every perk type ("Master Strategist"), discover each perk type for the first time ("Perk Collector"), and rack up correct answers in Review mode ("Chazara" at 50/100/250)
• Blitz Coins — Earn your first coin, pass lifetime milestones (5/10/25/50/100/500), make your first store purchase ("First Purchase"), and receive coins from a parent ("Gift from Home")

It depends on the achievement! There are three types:

• One-time achievements — Earned once and marked with a checkmark (e.g., "Be Strong and Courageous" for 10 correct in a row)
• Limited achievements — Can be earned multiple times, up to a max (e.g., "Curious Learner" can be earned up to 7 times — once per game type, including Online Play)
• Unlimited achievements — Can be earned repeatedly with no cap (e.g., "Well-versed" for completing categories)

Each time an achievement is earned, your child receives its perk reward!

Most achievements reward between 1 and 5 perk spins depending on difficulty:

• 1 spin — Starter achievements (first game, new game type, play 50 games, basic timed scores)
• 2 spins — Mid-tier (score 250+, win by 100+, use all perks, streak of 50, play 100 games)
• 3 spins — Advanced (score 500+, streak of 100, category basic completion, play 250 games, timed 250+)
• 5 spins — Elite (score 2,000+, streak of 250, category super completion, play 500 games)

A few achievements are pure participation badges (Hundred Gates / Quarter Thousand / Half Thousand) — earned just for playing 100, 250, or 500 games regardless of score. These give no perk spins, but they're recognition that your child stuck with it.

On the Child's Dashboard, there is an "Achievements" tab that displays every achievement in a visual grid grouped by category (Getting Started, Score, Winning, Streaks, Mastery, Diligence, Timed, Online Play, Special). Each card shows the Hebrew name, the unlock condition, and the perk reward. Locked achievements appear dimmed with a lock icon, while earned ones are highlighted with progress indicators.

A streak is the number of correct answers in a row during a game. Streaks are tracked in real time and reset when a wrong answer is given (unless a Streak Saver perk is active).

Hitting streak milestones unlocks powerful achievements:

• 10 in a row — "Be Strong and Courageous" (1 spin)
• 50 in a row — "Sharp Mind" (2 spins)
• 100 in a row — "Greatly Diligent Student" (3 spins)
• 250 in a row — "One Who Diligently Sits at My Doors" (5 spins)

Categories are the subjects your child learns and plays with. Each category contains a set of questions focused on a specific topic. Currently available categories include:

• Shorashim — Hebrew root words and etymology
• Brachos — Blessings
• Melachos — Shabbos laws

More categories will be added over time! See the full Categories page for a description of what's in each one.

Yes! The Categories page now shows our full roadmap — the entire Shas Mishnayos, Navi, and Bekius — each marked Live or Coming Soon. When you're signed in as a parent, you can vote for up to 3 Coming-Soon categories you'd most like us to build. The categories parents request most get pushed to the front of the line, and a "Most Requested" strip at the top shows the current favorites. Changed your mind? Just tap one of your picks to free up a vote.

The three default categories (Shorashim, Brachos, Melachos) are included automatically. Parents can purchase additional categories — Navi, Mishna, Parsha, Gemara, and more — and there's no cap on how many a family can stack onto their plan.

There are two levels of category completion:

• Basic Completion — Answer every question in the category correctly at least once (across multiple games). This earns a Gold Star and unlocks the "Well-versed" achievement.
• Super Completion — Answer every question in the category correctly in a single game session. This earns a second Gold Star and unlocks the "Well-versed and Sharp" achievement. Much harder!

Completion progress is tracked as a percentage on the dashboard.

Gold Stars are visual badges displayed on your child's dashboard header. Each category can earn up to 2 stars:

• 1 star — Basic completion (100% answered correctly over time)
• 2 stars — Super completion (100% correct in one game)

That's up to 2 Gold Stars per category, so your child's total scales with how many categories your family owns (e.g. 6 stars with the three default categories, more with each add-on pack). When your child is just one star away from a perfect set, the whole row starts flashing with a special animation — almost there!

Alongside Gold Stars, your child earns a printable Certificate for each category they complete:

• Standard Certificate — Awarded for basic completion (every question in the category answered correctly at least once over time)
• Power Certificate 🏆 — Awarded for super completion (every question correct in a single flawless game with zero wrongs)

When your child earns a certificate, a celebration toast pops up on screen. Certificates can be viewed and downloaded from the Categories tab on the Child's Dashboard — perfect for printing, framing, or showing off to family.

All questions are multiple choice with 4 answer options. Most show the Hebrew text with a transliteration (English letters) to read — but some categories use richer formats:

• Text questions — a Hebrew word or phrase with a transliteration; choose the correct translation
• 🔈 Audio questions — listen to a short sound clip (it replays automatically) and choose the right answer
• 📷 Photo questions — answer based on a picture shown alongside the question

Audio and photo questions give a little extra time (15 seconds) so there's time to listen or look. Questions are shuffled randomly each game, so your child won't see the same order twice!

Yes! We have plans to expand both:

• New categories — Additional subjects will be available to add to player profiles
• Difficulty levels — "Easy" and "Hard" modes are coming soon alongside the current "Medium" difficulty
• Add-on categories — Parents will be able to purchase additional categories (Navi, Mishna, Parsha, Gemara, and more), unlocked for every player on the account

The Child's Dashboard is a personal hub with 5 main tabs:

• Categories — View selected subjects, completion progress (basic & super), and downloadable Certificates for each category completed
• Trophies — See earned Gold Stars and completion certificates at a glance
• Perks — See their full perk inventory with counts, icons, and descriptions
• Stats — View total score, wins, losses, games played, accuracy, play time, and high scores by mode
• Achievements — Browse all achievements grouped by category, with progress indicators and unlock conditions

Plus a big "Play Now" button to jump right into a game! The header also has icons for the Top 10 Leaderboard (crown + star) and Settings (gamepad).

Your child visits torahblitz.com, which takes them directly to the Player Selection screen. They select their profile card and enter their 4-digit PIN. The PIN is verified, and they're taken to their personal dashboard. No parent login needed — the PIN only needs to be entered once per session.

Yes! There's a "Change PIN" button on the dashboard header. Your child will need to enter their current PIN to verify their identity, then choose a new 4-digit PIN. Parents can also change PINs from the Parent Dashboard.

The Stats tab provides a comprehensive view:

Overview cards:

• Total Score, Wins, Losses, Games Played, Overall Accuracy, Total Play Time

High Scores by Game Mode:

• For each mode played — the highest score, games played in that mode, and accuracy

When a parent gifts perk spins, they're saved as "pending spins." The next time your child opens their dashboard, the Perkolating Wheel will automatically appear so they can spin and claim their perks right away! It's a fun surprise.

Kids play on a family device (tablet, phone, or computer). The first time a device is used, a parent activates it by signing in with their email and password. After that one-time setup, kids go straight to the Player Selection screen whenever they visit torahblitz.com. They simply:

• Select their player profile from the list
• Enter their 4-digit PIN
• They're in — ready to play or view their dashboard

Kids never need the parent's password — just their own PIN. Parents can log out all devices from the "Log Out All Devices" button in Account Settings if needed.

The Parent Dashboard is organized as a clean hub with 6 panels. Each button opens a focused section:

• Personal Info — Update your name, email, phone, and address
• Account Settings — Change your email or password, manage device access with "Log Out All Devices," pick the Reward Theme for the Perkolating Wheel, and turn Online Play on or off for the whole account
• Manage Players — View and edit all your children's profiles (names, birthday, photo, PIN, leaderboard settings)
• Manage Categories — Control gameplay: toggle play access, restrict categories, and gift perks

For security, a password is required the first time you open any panel, and again after 5 minutes of inactivity.

From the hub, click "Manage Players". If your plan has available player spots, you'll see an "Add Player" card with a "+" icon. Click it to open the new player form where you'll enter:

• First and last name (required — cannot be changed later)
• A 4-digit PIN for the child's account

The new player will start with the default categories and a starter perk pack. You can add additional details (Hebrew name, yeshiva, birthday, photo) afterward.

Player limits by plan: Single (1 player), Family (3 players), Family+ (7 players).

In the Manage Players panel, click on any player card to expand it. You can edit:

• Hebrew Name — Displayed alongside their English name
• Yeshiva — School name
• Gender and Birthday
• Hebrew Birthday — Shown in a grey box below the birthday field; use the +/− buttons to adjust the day if needed
• Player PIN — Change their access code
• Profile Photo — Upload, change, or remove directly from the card header (JPG/PNG, max 5MB)
• Avatar — Choose from 12 fun animal avatars (shown on leaderboard when photo is hidden)
• Public Leaderboard — Separate toggles for name and photo visibility

Gameplay controls like Allow Play, Restrict Categories, and Gift a Perk! are now in the separate Manage Categories panel.

Note: The player's name cannot be changed after account creation.

From the Parent Dashboard hub, you have two panels for viewing your children's information. Manage Players shows all player profiles with a quick summary (wins/losses, accuracy, category progress) — expand any card to edit profile details. Manage Categories shows gameplay controls for each player, including play access, category restrictions, and gifting perks.

We offer three annual plans:

All new accounts receive a 3-day free trial. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time with prorated pricing.

Yes! In the Manage Plan panel, you can change your plan at any time. Pricing is prorated — you'll only pay the difference for the remaining time on your billing cycle when upgrading, or receive credit when downgrading.

You'll be shown a pricing summary before confirming, and a password is required for security.

From the hub, click "Account Settings" to open the email and password panel. Enter your current password for verification, then provide a new email, a new password (minimum 6 characters), or both.

Online Play is off by default. To enable it, open the Account Settings panel from the Parent Dashboard hub and scroll to the Online Play card. Flip the toggle on, and all eligible players on your account can play Online Play matches.

Requirements:

• A Family or Family+ plan
• Each player must have their gender and birthday filled in (used to match a fair opponent — younger kids get easier opponents)

Your child only sees the opponent's name. There is no chat, no contact information, and no way for an opponent to reach your child outside of the match.

The Reward Theme picker lets you choose what bonus prizes appear on the Perkolating Wheel for your family. Different themes change which real-world rewards (e.g. YMT books, yeshiva visit) can show up on rare spins, so the wheel matches your family's interests.

Find it in Account Settings under the Reward Theme card. Your selection applies to every player on the account.

From the hub, click "Help", then use the "Contact Us" form. Enter a subject and your message, then click "Send Message." This goes directly to the Torah Blitz support team. The Help panel also contains quick links to the FAQ and Leaderboard.

Cancellation is available in the Manage Plan panel. Please be aware that cancelling will permanently delete all player data — including profiles, progress, achievements, perks, and stats. You'll need to confirm with your password before the cancellation is processed. We recommend reaching out to support first if you're having any issues!

Absolutely. Each player card in Manage Players has two separate toggles:

• "Allow child's name on the Public Leaderboard" — Controls whether they appear at all
• "Show photo on the Leaderboard" — Controls whether their photo is shown (otherwise an avatar is displayed)

You can also pick a fun avatar for your child that will represent them on the leaderboard when their photo is hidden. The leaderboard is separated by boys and girls, so make sure to set the gender in the player's profile. Players without a gender set will not appear on the leaderboard.

Only if you choose to allow it. Each player has two separate controls in their profile on the Parent Dashboard: one to allow their name on the leaderboard, and another to allow their photo. When the photo toggle is off, a fun avatar (chosen by you) is shown instead. When the name toggle is off (the default), your child's information stays completely private.

Parents can optionally set their child's Hebrew birthday in the Manage Players section of the Parent Dashboard. When you enter a birthday, a grey box appears below it showing the Hebrew date in both English and Hebrew. Use the +/− buttons to adjust the day if needed (night births can be off by a day). When a child's Hebrew birthday arrives, a special birthday banner appears on their dashboard with a festive message. It's a fun personal touch — and completely optional. Only the Hebrew month and day are used (no year).

The Top 10 Leaderboard is a public page that showcases the highest-scoring players for each game type. The leaderboard is separated into Boys and Girls sections (defaulting to Boys). Each entry displays the player's name, avatar or photo, yeshiva, and score.

To keep it fair, each player can only appear once per game type. Players only appear if their parent has turned on the name toggle and they have a gender set. You can also filter by category using the dropdown.
